Bone Grafting For Periodontal Disease

In periodontal disease bone and soft tissue are lost around teeth.

Although in it’s infancy, bone grafting to repair bone loss may be possible in certain types of defects. Not all periodontal defects can be grafted, but for those that meet the criteria this is an exciting new possibility.

Should you require periodontal surgery, we will discuss with you whether or not you are a candidate for this. The final decision however is made at the time of surgery once the defect is fully visualized by the surgeon.
